We also got this weird relationship thing going on that Drizzt doesn't understand but it's already weirdly deep. And he doesn't mind. But he knows you've got a long way to go to adjust to not being in Menzoberrazan anymore, and even further to go to start feeling really good about yourself. But you're starting to get there. Drizzt can see that you're tentatively walking along the path with him to a happier life. He loves training under you again, and hopes to surpass you in skill to make you proud. Zaknafein is the only one that Drizzt has to "let" sacrifice himself for his sake; Drizzt knows that it can't be the other way around, and that scares him a little. But he's going to figure out how to bring you home. You deserve all the love you get, and he's kinda hoping that you and Elphie end up being really good for each other. But you're awesome, Father. Drizzt loves you forever.

And you feel a little motherly in a way and he respects you a lot, even from only a few interactions. But he realized in the last conversation that his optimistic world view is something you don't like, so now he's not sure what to do. No one's ever been mad about that before? He's never really shared it so much? Even though his timing was bad, and that was his fault, you kicked at the foundation of his entire life. So he's avoiding you because he doesn't know what will happen if you break that.

Elphaba Thropp wickedestwitch		♥++	STEPMOM	Drizzt has an idea that he's going to someday call you Mother for real instead of just a cover story. You're gentle and kind, and your flying monkey is pretty awesome, too. You were able to get Drizzt's father to agree to do things the legal way, and got Drizzt out of lockup. Then you're okay with staying married to Zak. Which he thinks is kinda weird but he kinda sorta ships it. He also trusts you with his father's emotional health, and that's no small thing. You're a lovely woman who will let her opinion known, and you swing a mean broom. Drizzt can tell you're starting to love him, and Drizzt knows he's starting to love you back.
Xena ayiyiyi		+++	MENTOR	Drizzt wonders if his mother hadn't been evil, would she have been like you? Because there's hints of his mother in you, and that's why you scared him so badly once, but it's not the same. There's something more there. You have an appreciation of Guenhwyvar's grace, too, that made him happy to see. You're obviously an experienced warrior and are older emotionally. Even if you know he's a child, you treat him with respect, and Drizzt truly appreciates that. If only his mother could have been like you. If only his mother could have been you. (Also, when/if he finds out about you and Gabrielle, he will ship it.)
