Drizzt's Room

VERSION 1.0

LOCATION: Off of Zak's training hall

Drizzt's First Room

Description: The entrance is a simple but well-crafted wooden door on the far side of Zaknafein's training hall, opening to a small portion of a prairie and forest. Everything is bathed in starlight, and ahead lies a crackling fire pit. The room seems to extend further than it should, but if one looks again, a simple cedar split rail fence outlines the perimeter of the room to prevent people from running into the "invisible" walls.

To the left of it is the double lean to that serves as Drizzt's bedroom, well made by skilled hands. There is, surprisingly, a very thin bed in there and a headless pelt of some overly large and furry creature to cover the dirt floor, mostly for his and Guenhwyvar's comfort, respectively. The back end of it is open to a small hearth, complete with already cut up logs of firewood ready to be used.

To the right are a few large trees, and what looks like a forest beyond it. The trees seem almost alive, and quite certainly have had a lot of work to get them to that point, but they are not quite. Liminal Manipulation can only do so much. They are however gigantic deciduous trees of some nature and quite perfect for climbing, with higher branches perfect for a nap.

In the middle of the "room" is a fire pit on top of what looks like an ancient stone circle. It is surrounded by large boulders 'selected' (made) comfortable for sitting. There is a pine box that contains furs and blankets to help adjust them to others' comfort to the left, near the start of the small section of grassland that fits in the confines of the room. [NOT PICTURED]

There is not, however, a bathroom or even a place to get water. Not yet. Another day, perhaps!

NIGHTTIME: There's very little light pollution in the Liminal Space, so expect a very clear starry night sky. There's no telling what kind of galaxy Drizzt's planet Toril exists in, so just assume you can see some portion of its structure. Drizzt spent a very long time staring at the stars over the decades, and uses them even as guides, so he's been able to reproduce the night sky decently well. However, they will not resolve into planets if viewed with a telescope. Sorry! That's a bit much for the room.

Although it will slowly rotate. And there are aurora because he CAN. Have Icewind Dale's sky over a much more temperate climate. You're welcome.

ALSO NOTE: The ground away from the trees and their roots is dry and flat enough to be wheelchair accessible. It's pretty much by accident. He's also attached wheels underneath one rock to roll it away from the fire in case he needs more room to do stuff, because why the heck not? That gives another benefit of allowing room for a wheelchair.

Yay for accidental partial ADA compliance?
